Founded in 1970, The International Association of Business Communicators provides a professional network of more than 15,000 business communicators in more than 80 countries. Our members hold positions in:
|

IABC is a communicator’s source for topical information, project consultation, management skills and career development.
The international orientation of IABC is becoming increasingly valuable to members. As the world grows closer and organizations’ operations cross national boundaries, communicators need to better understand the diversity of many cultures.
At the same time, local chapters like ours must also encompass and reflect the diversity in our communities as we target our communication efforts. Members learn from each other and IABC is at the forefront in helping minimize traditional barriers and encourage an understanding of multiculturalism through information, networks, education, professional development and research.
Local Involvement
IABC/Columbus is the central Ohio chapter of IABC. We bring together professionals from diverse disciplines whose purpose is to improve business through strategic communications.
Members of IABC/Columbus have the opportunity for professional advancement through publications, local, regional and international meetings and seminars, and networking.
