About Us

The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) is the international information network serving communication professionals locally, nationally and throughout the world. IABC is a communicator’s source for topical information, project consultation, management skills and career development.

The international orientation of IABC is becoming increasingly valuable to members. As the world grows closer and organizations’ operations cross national boundaries, communicators need to better understand the diversity of many cultures.

At the same time, local chapters in each country must encompass and reflect the diversity in their communities as they target their communication efforts. Members are learning from each other and IABC is at the forefront in helping minimize traditional barriers and encourage an understanding of multiculturalism through information, networks, education, professional development and research.
