We post complete job listings, including position descriptions and employer contact information, to our page on the IABC/Columbus Web site. We post jobs as employers submit them, so be sure to check the site regularly for the latest listings. Most listings are open for 30 days.


Employers

Looking for an entry-level communications professional to join your organization? Maybe you need a seasoned senior communicator. How about a part-time intern with fresh ideas?

Through the IABC/Columbus Job Bank, employers have access to professional communicators with all levels of experience. As a service to both our members and employers, we post communications-related positions at no charge. Posting a job is easy — simply e-mail the JBC with your listing, observing the following format:

Send the entire listing in the body of your e-mail message, not as an attachment. Your listing should include all the following information:

  • The title of the position
  • A description of the duties and responsibilities of the position, stated in 200 words or less
  • Any specific requirements you might have (education, past experience, software programs, etc.)
  • The years of experience you require or prefer
  • The position’s salary range in actual dollar figures
  • The name and location of your company, or if you are a recruiter, the company for which the candidate would work
  • Contact information for candidate responses.

After your listing is posted, job seekers whom are interested will contact you directly. Listings are typically active for 30 days, unless you specify a longer posting time in your e-mail.
